Fishing Charters & Costs

Day Fishing Fishing Charters:

Regular fishing charters leave the Narooma Marina daily, charters subject to minimum numbers/minimum cost.

Charter: 3hours: 9am til 12midday Maximum: 13 people Minimum: 4 people or minimum cost $150

Cost: $50/adult. $40/child under 16yrs Family ticket, $150, includes 2 adults + 2 children under 16yrs.

Please note no children under 16yrs without a responsible adult.

This is a fun fishing experience for families and others who enjoy time on the water and would like to catch a fish. No fishing experience necessary, all fishing gear, bait and licences supplied. Boat is built to survey to provide a stable and safe fishing platform for up to 13 people.

The charter leaves at 9am. Please arrive at the Marina at least 5 minutes prior to the departure time. We are unable to delay departure and no refunds for late arrival.

Where we start fishing is dependent on conditions ie tides and winds. We will usually chase the big dusky flathead first, fishing on the drop off in the deeper water. As the morning progresses we will move up the estuary chasing the bream and other species. No matter what the conditions the many sheltered bays on the inlet provide a comfortable fishing spot in most weather..

After a fun time for all at 12 noon we return to Narooma Marina where I will clean and bag your catch for you to take home for dinner.

With conservation in mind I encourage catch and release for those who just want the fishing experience. The flathead over 70cm are the breeders in the estuary so only 1 per person is legally allowed to be taken. I personally love to release this wonderful fish knowing they are providing the fish for tomorrow.

Safety on the boat is my priority, injured people do not make for a fun time. To ensure safety and a good experience for all no children under sixteen allowed with out a responsible adult. Adults with children must be prepared to supervise and help were necessary with baiting hooks untangling lines etc this way everyone can enjoy themselves. My main role as captain is to the drive the boat find you a good fishing spot and general help with how to catch your fish while ensuring your safety.

Fishing Charters for the more experienced or those who want to learn different methods:

Charter - 5 hours: 7am til 12midday. Maximum : 4persons. Minimum : 2persons Price $140 per person

7am Start:

• Collect live bait and fish over the best part of the day
• Soft plastics available if you prefer
• Fishing methods: Live Baiting , Lure casting , Down rigging
• All fishing gear and licences supplied
• Main target species are Dusky Flathead, Mulloway, Bream Whiting. By catch Tailor, Flounder, Tarwine and Garfish.

Boat has lots of room to move, comfortable padded seats wind and rain covers with lots of open space to fish from, tide determines starting point of charter. There are many options and we work at it until we find what is working today.

Fishing charter winds up at the Narooma Marina. Remember, top fishing, great location. What more could you want?

Night Fishing Charter - 3 hours: 5pm til 8pm Maximum: 6 persons. Minimum: 3 persons or minimum cost $200 Cost: $70 per person.

Night fishing with small parties is great fun and often large fish result. Big Flathead and Mulloway feed freely at night and a big bend in the rod is common. Boat is set up for night fishing with weather protection lights and a big Net at the ready.

Target species: Mulloway , Dusky Flathead , Bream XOS size. I have been cleaned up by a shark under these conditions! What fun!

Ring 02 4476 2483 to arrange. Cancellation only if conditions unsafe or extremely bad as weather protection on the boat make trips in most conditions possible.
